Pre-Leasing Now Underway at Origin, Dartmouth Crossing’s New Residential Landmark

We’re thrilled to announce that pre-leasing is now underway at Origin, our new residential rental development in the heart of Dartmouth Crossing. This milestone marks a pivotal step in the transformation of one of Eastern Canada’s premier shopping and entertainment destinations into a vibrant, mixed-use community.

The Master Plan for Dartmouth Crossing is a compelling story of revitalization. What was once home to several quarries has evolved into a successful retail destination with a rehabilitated network of brooks and streams that support new habitats across the site. That evolution continues with the introduction of high-quality rental living. The first phase of residential development—Origin—is currently under construction, with initial occupancy anticipated in Spring 2026.

Origin is redefining rental living in Dartmouth, offering 284 thoughtfully designed units across two architecturally striking buildings, connected by a central podium that features an expansive amenity space. Origin will deliver a mix of one- to three-bedroom units, penthouses, and townhomes with bold, modern suites, premium finishes, and exceptional amenities.

On October 16th, NADG hosted an exclusive VIP launch event to celebrate the opening of the Origin leasing centre, welcoming key stakeholders and community partners for an exclusive look at what’s to come. The event showcased Origin’s vision for elevated rental living—highlighting design-forward suites, curated amenities, and a lifestyle rooted in convenience and connection. This was followed by a successful public launch on October 18th, which resulted in the lease up of Origin’s first unit!

Pre-leasing will continue into the new year as construction progresses, and the first building nears completion.
