Property Overview

Dartmouth Crossing is one of Canada’s most expansive and dominant mixed-use projects. Rising from its origins as a 511-acre quarry, the property has been transformed into a vibrant destination that hosts every major retailer as well as an eclectic mix of fashion, specialty, and culinary experiences, spanning over 1.8 million sf of GLA.
The development unfolds across four distinct districts: the dynamic big box district, where large and medium-format brands draw shoppers from afar and includes Atlantic Canada’s only IKEA location; The Village Shops at Dartmouth Crossing, a charming main street lined with stylish boutiques and fashion-forward outlets; the energetic entertainment district, alive with restaurants and multiple entertainment draws; and the thriving business district, which includes over 142,000 sf of integrated office space.
Completing this holistic vision and adding to the 3 hotels already on site, Dartmouth Crossing’s residential district is now coming to life, with the first phase of 284 units now under construction. Ultimately, DC will offer more than 2,500 thoughtfully designed residential units, seamlessly integrating living, shopping, working, and leisure into a dynamic and modern community.
